"I've always had an interest in craft work and learnt how to embroider at an early age. I soon developed other craft interests, dress-making,
cross-stitch, tapestry, glass painting and jewellery to name a few.
I've used my interest in handicrafts to make toys and gifts for
family and friends for over 40 years.
I love working with the crystals and gemstone beads. I have a feeling
it stems back to infant and junior school where all the girls had
tins of beads and 'diamonds' and we'd spend many a happy playtime bartering for treasure in someone else's tin which, caught our eye much like a flock of magpies.
I've always found craft work relaxing and feel a real sense of satisfaction when I complete a design."
