New Fragrances

Welcome to our new section where we tell you all about the latest
fragrances and do our very best to give you an accurate description
of them.

You may have also noticed that we have gorgeous new glamorous
gold labels as pictured above - this is how our labels will look from
now on.
And that's not the only difference - we are now enjoying the wow factor
more with the new natural colouring of our oils - we just thought they
look a bit more special and bright.

Since Summer is on its way (or supposed to be!),
we thought we would start by talking about some
of the brand-new fragrances tipped to
be THE must-have fragrances for Summer 2009.

Ocean Lounge is the cool new summer fragrance from Escada.

A truly refreshing and revitalising summer fragrance.
When you first apply it you get the zesty lychee
coming through.
This then gives way to summer berries
including plum and strawberry alongside
a warm, refreshing almost fuzzy peach
aftertaste - think of poolside cool drinks,
while you plan your evening out on the town!

Midnight Poison by DIOR

A deep, complex fragrance with a huge variety of notes to it.
This is an unusual fragrance which smells interestingly busy at
first when applied, but as it dries, it becomes clearer and easier to
detect the many and varied notes.
I have to say I haven't experienced anything like this fragrance
before - initially I was unsure about this one, but after letting it dry
on me and giving it a few hours to get used to me, I get a deep,
heavy woodsy coming through mixing with an orangey, spicy,
mulled fruit wine almost to it.
If you like a woodsy, deep, complex fragrance which is actually quite
difficult to describe in my opinion, then this is the one for you.
It's an unusual one and will certainly get you some admiring,
if not enquiring comments.

Philosophy fragrances

A gorgeous all-round sensual, feminine, sweet and gentle fragrance, Falling In Love by Philosophy is the fragrance to bring out your girly side.
Sweet but not overpowering, this fragrance will make you want to indulge your girly side.

Amazing Grace is a girly fragrance that just smells beautifully clean and crisp while keeping in mind your delicious femininity. A fantastic perfume to keep your spirits up all day long, and one that will surely get a great deal of compliments!

Baby Grace is the perfume for the lady that says, "I don't normally wear perfume". If you want a very light delicate fragrance that won't overpower, then this is the one for you. It's a calming, reassuring scent that makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
I would call it a barely-there perfume - subtle yet clean and crisp.

Fancy by Jessica Simpson is another of the latest fragrances to come to Begin-Again.

If you like the heavy sweetness of vanilla-caramel
type fragrances, then this is the one for you.
A very heavy, syrup-sweet fragrance at first which
takes a while to calm down, but still retains its
sweetness even after its dry.

Blue Seduction for men by Antonio Banderas

Another fresh, cool invigorating fragrance which could easily end up with a hot,
seductive, sensual contrast!
A gorgeous fragrance, fresh and modern, crisp and casual.
This is the one for the modern man who loves life and loves the unpredictability
and lives life with intensity.

Blue Seduction for women by Antonio Banderas

I have to admit to being surprised by this fragrance. A little sceptical at first, but wow,
what a refreshing scent!
If you imagine the cool, refreshing spray thrown about by those big blue waves as
you stand at the water's edge, with a fresh zesty tinge to it, then you've got this
fragrance.
Invigorating and revitalising, and a personal favourite of mine now.
A very modern woman who loves the zest and spontaneous nature of life will love
this scent.
